Lamellar settling is a water treatment process that consists of the removal of settleable solids.
Delta Water lamella decanter: compact, prefabricated and customized

Delta Water’s compact lamella decanter has a high performance in the wastewater clarification process thanks to its special design.
This type of prefabricated decanter represents a substantial saving in relation to civil works, since it considerably reduces the space required for its installation.
The design of the lamella decanter is based on the characteristics of the water to be treated. A correct design implies:
- Laminar flow conditions.
- Sufficient retention time.
- Water velocity in the lamellae not exceeding a certain critical value to avoid entrainment of sediment sludge.
Options
The lamellar decanter can be containerized or on a platform.
The equipment can incorporate flocculation chambers or tubes and chemical dosing system.
Delta Water’s compact lamella decanter is made of reinforced polypropylene with a steel outer metal support. The manufacturing can also be carried out in steels of different qualities, depending on the characteristics of the influent to be treated as well as the environmental surroundings of the location.
Inside the decanter there are lamella modules, which drag the heaviest particles to the bottom of the decanter. The clarified water flows to the surface.
The flow rates of the compact lamella decanters range from 1 to 100 m³/h.
